LA Canvas Magazine Launch Party

I was recently invited to the launch party (11.12.10) for LA Canvas Magazine by my close friend Gjunkie. The party was hosted at some really swank, 2-story wearhouse in Downtown Los Angeles. The party was a blast; open bar, sick DJ’s, a photobooth (Project Photobooth), and of course great company.

The Magazine

When you first look at the magazine you’ll notice the subtle blue cover. The design is simple and attractive. I’m not sure if they will change the cover every issue or how it will evolve but right now it’s a fabulous addition to your coffee table. Inside you’ll find exactly what the magazine is all about. They advertise it as being much like JoesDaily, with Art, Fashion, Tech, and LA life. The magazine will be released every 2 months which will give the editors plenty of time to gather content for their readers.

You can pick up this magazine for free around LA at select locations. I’m sure very soon this will be a house-hold name and more venues will supply it. In the mean-time you should check out their site LACanvas.com. If you do come across a copy of the magazine or have already seen it be sure to leave a comment below telling everyone what you think about it.

Joe Miragliotta is a caffeine addict, social media freak and a tech junkie. When first creating JoesDaily.com the concept was small; Post diary-like content to share with the world of all things he was into. Now it's grown to be much more than that. You'll find travel, food & drink, design, tech, entertainment and more!
