Burning Man 2011 by Scott London
Every year people gather in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada for a week-long festival called Burning Man. The name comes from the desert goers burning an effigy on Saturday evening.
Effigy: An effigy is a representation of a person, especially in the form of sculpture or some other three-dimensional form.
I personally don’t think I would fit in too nicely with the rest of the people that attend this epic event but boy does it look like fun. Scott London’s photos from 2011’s Burning Man illustrate the true culture of the people and what goes on there. It would be a trip to actually see all of this in person.
