Do you and your friends have $125,000 laying around and have a taste for one-of-a-kind bourbons? Well, you’re in luck.
The Orphan Barrel Project was started to celebrate the barrels that were long forgotten. The barrels later discovered in old rickhouses and distilleries, untouched and left to age. Each barrel found will be handbottled, and once they’re gone, well, they’re gone for good.
Purchasers of the project will get an exclusive visit with five of their friends to the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. There they will go barrel hunting, taste bourbons recently discovered, and even create two new Orphan Barrel variants to be handbottled with labels designed by them.
If that wasn’t enough, how about receiving 24 bottles of each of the remaining stocks of eight different Orphan Barrel bourbons, along with a custom built whiskey cabinet created in Kentucky to house your new collection, barware, and a leather-bound book about your whiskey.
Lots and lots of goodies for any bourbon lover, but is it worth the $125,000 price tag? Watch the video and see if The Orphan Barrel Project is for you!
