Swedish camera maker Hasselblad has just released a big first for the camera industry. The Hasselblad X1D ($9,000 USD) is the world’s first medium format mirrorless digital camera. It’s retro-like design is absolutely stunning, and is smaller than the majority of full-frame cameras on the market. The X1D features a huge 50-megapixel CMOS sensor with a large scale ISO range of 100 to 25600, and a dynamic range up to 14 stops. To hold such large images they have equipped the X1D with dual SD card slots, and a 3″ screen with built-in EVF to view them. Lastly, this revolutionary camera uses USB 3.0 for connecting to your computer.
