According to recent research, 72% of people are worried about the air quality in their car, and rightfully so. The air inside your car can be up to 15 times more polluted than on the road outside. This is due to poor air quality caused by your car, coupled with other vehicle’s exhausts.
Swedish company, Blueair, has developed a solution that will come to market in the second quarter of 2018. Cabin Air is an in-vehicle air purifier that plugs directly into your car’s 12v socket.
“We see a strong, unmet consumer need for clean air. Air pollution levels soar in our key markets and pollution concerns are growing worldwide, particularly in Asia and the Middle-East. As a result, we are expanding our air purification expertise and best-in-class technology to a new segment with the objective of improving the health and well-being of even more people,”
– Mehmet Altinok, CEO of Blueair
I’m hoping to get my hands the Blueair when it releases later this year. Stay tuned for more.
