I’ve been covering Joe Penna (aka. MysteryGuitarMan) for a long, long time now. He’s gone from a YouTuber with 3 million subscribers to a big-time movie director making films with legendary actors like Mads Mikkelsen (Arctic). His latest, STOWAWAY, is a new Netflix sci-fi thriller co-wrote with his creative partner Ryan Morrison. The new film takes place in space with a crew headed to Mars when an unintended stowaway accidentally causes damage to the spaceship’s life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially fatal outcome, the crew is forced to make an impossible decision.
