On 7 May 1963, the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based company was founded as “Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.a.s.” Today, known as Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., it boasts over 2000 employees and delivered a record-breaking 9233 cars in 2022.
Global Anniversary Celebrations:
To commemorate this special milestone, Automobili Lamborghini has planned a series of international events that aim to engage Lamborghini owners, official clubs, dealerships, and fans from all corners of the globe.
The festivities kicked off in January with the grand opening of the newly renovated Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, showcasing the exhibition “The Future Began In 1963.” This was followed by “Lamborghini Day Japan – 60th Anniversary” in Suzuka and “Lamborghini Day UK – 60th Anniversary,” where over 380 Lamborghinis gathered at the Silverstone circuit on 29 April.
Upcoming Italian Celebrations:
The grand finale of the 60th-anniversary celebrations will take place in Italy, with the “60th Anniversary Giro” tour scheduled from 24 May. This epic event will culminate on 28 May in Piazza Maggiore, Bologna, with a public Concours d’Elegance featuring more than 150 Lamborghinis.
