The Premier League Hall of Fame is somewhere all players, past and present want to end up. Anyone who is inducted into it joins countless legends of the game as they’re recognised for their commitment to taking England’s first division to the elite levels it’s currently at.
Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry were the first to be included in this group of players for the huge amount of goals that helped their teams win Premier League titles. However, there’s a new crop of talent that has or continues to set the Prem alight with impressive performance week in and week out.
Our guide below will take a look at the three that we believe are most likely to become a Premier League Hall of Famer in the future. Continue reading to see who our predictions include and why they’re in with a shot of becoming English football royalty in the years to come.
Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah is arguably the best winger to grace the Prem since Cristiano Ronaldo himself and has scored over 200 goals for Liverpool while winning every single trophy he possibly could. The Egyptian’s career in the first division wasn’t all smooth sailing, however, with him having an underwhelming spell at Chelsea before joining Roma where he grew his talent. This earned him his move to Liverpool where he’s been a goal machine ever since.
Red’s fans flock to buy new shirts with Salah on the back every year and with another 18 months left on his contract, they’ll be hoping for plenty more magic moments in the future too.
Kevin De Bruyne
De Bruyne is a special talent and is the assist king of the Premier League. Both feet are competent with the ball and he’s the driving force behind City’s success over the years. Like Salah, De Bruyne also shared a lacklustre spell at Chelsea before being shipped off to the Bundesliga. At Wolfsburg, he found his feet and secured a big money move to City.
He’s since won countless personal and team awards, which will likely continue in the future. That’s why we’re confident he’ll be inducted into the Hall of Fame too.
Harry Kane
Kane has lived a career filled with personal highlights but doesn’t have a single trophy to show for it. That being said, he’s one of the highest-scoring players the Prem has ever seen. Kane is emphatic in front of goal and he’s won the golden boot award many times. It was perceived by many that he would never leave Spurs but he did in August 2023 as he joined German giants Bayern Munich.
While he may no longer be playing in England, we believe he’s done enough to earn his spot in the Hall of Fame.
