West Virginia Lottery draw games run on several different schedules. Some draw every evening at a fixed time. Others run on set days throughout the week. Knowing when each game draws helps you plan purchases and know exactly when to check your results.

Games that draw every night

Daily 3, Daily 4, and Cash25 all draw at 6:59 PM Eastern, seven days a week. Sales cut off is at 6:49pm. The top prize for Daily 3 is $500. Daily 4 goes to $5,000, and Cash25 reaches $25,000. Buy a ticket on any given evening and you will have a result before the day is out.

Millionaire for Life™ also draws daily. The game has two top prize positions worth $1,000,000 a year for life, plus seven further cash prize levels below that. You can pick up a ticket in-store at any licensed WVL retailer, or register and start playing online. The guide to iPLAY in WV covers account setup, payment options, and how to buy your first draw entry from your phone or desktop.

Multi-state games and their draw days

POWERBALL® and Lotto America® draw on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. MEGA MILLIONS® draws on Tuesdays and Fridays. All three are multi-state games with jackpots that accumulate across the network of participating states until a qualifying entry matches the winning numbers.

Jackpot amounts on these games shift with each draw cycle. Not all lottery games are available to play online, but you can check out the jackpot amounts via the official West Virginia Lottery website.

KENO and the in-store-only games

KENO GO BONUS draws every three minutes at licensed WVL retailers and is not available online, nor is Ca$h Pop. If you plan to play through the WVL app or website, these two games are not an option. But, you can scan eligible tickets through the app and earn PlayON points regardless!

Playing in-store and online

Most WVL draw games are available in store and online. To play online you need an active iPLAY account, and you must be 18 or older and physically located in West Virginia at the point of purchase. Android users download the WVL app directly from the WVL website. iPhone users can find it on the App Store.

Through iPLAY, you can set up multi-draw entries for POWERBALL®, MEGA MILLIONS®, and Lotto America®, selecting how many upcoming draws to enter in a single step rather than purchasing individually each time. The Jackpot Threshold Auto-Renewal feature is also available on these three games, automatically purchasing entries when the jackpot reaches a level you define.

Quick Pick and how results work

Whether you select your own numbers or use Quick Pick, where the system picks randomly for you, it has no effect on the odds of your numbers matching the draw. Each draw is an independent event. The result of the previous draw has no bearing on the next one.

Draw results appear on the Number Checker page at wvlottery.com after every draw. iPLAY players can also enable notifications so they receive an automatic alert once their numbers are checked. The draw schedule is listed in the How to Play section and the sales cut off time is listed on the game card – the most reliable place to confirm next-draw times, particularly for the multi-state games.
