Mercedes won’t bring an official G-Class convertible to the US until at least 2028, and even that date isn’t confirmed. Brabus got tired of waiting. It starts with a Mercedes-AMG G 63 and rebuilds it around a 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 making 900 horsepower, enough to hit 62 mph in 3.7 seconds. The soft top folds down in 20 seconds and holds its shape at speed thanks to a carbon fiber roof bow built into the structure. Inside, black leather and Alcantara run throughout with red stitching, illuminated Brabus badging at the entry points, and a carbon-trimmed roll bar behind the rear seats. Ten cars total, each shipping with a blockchain-based passport verifying its place in the build. For reference, that is 900 horsepower against the stock G 63’s 577, in a convertible. No price listed; sold through Brabus.
