There ain’t no party like a Kia Stinger party, or a drive event for that matter.
This week kicks off 1 of 9 Stinger Experience events happening in select cities nationwide, each lasting 4 days. The first event starts on February 22nd, 2018 in California at the Santa Anita Racetrack and I’ll be there to cover it live.
What to expect at the Stinger Experience
How does getting hands-on with Kia’s all new fastback sedan in a professional racetrack setting sound to you? Kia has designed the #StingerExperience to be a once-in-a-lifetime, highly unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Stinger. The two-hour adventure includes education, drive time, and a professional driver to guide you through quick turns and long stretches over their hand-crafted racetrack.
I can say first-hand that this will be unlike anything you have ever experienced before, that is unless you’re a race car driver. During Kia’s national press drive event for the Stinger, we took part in a very similar autocross experience that still sits high on my list of favorite things I’ve ever done. Similar to the event I attended, Kia will be providing #StingerExperience guests comparative vehicles to test-drive alongside the Stinger. This is a great way to compare the raw power of Kia’s first ever high-performance vehicle.
The Entire #StingerExperience Schedule
Due to limited availability, I highly recommend you sign up as soon as possible. You won’t want to miss a Stinger Experience event when they come to your town. Take a look below to see the full schedule:
- 2/22 – 2/25: Santa Anita Racetrack (Arcadia, CA)
- 3/1 – 3/4: Lone Star Park (Grand Prairie, TX)
- 3/8 – 3/11: FedEx Field (Landover, MD)
- 3/15 – 3/18: Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, NC)
- 3/22 – 3/25: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ)
- 3/29 – 4/1: Gillette Stadium (Foxborough, MA)
- 4/5 – 4/8: Arlington Park (Arlington Heights, IL)
- 4/12 – 4/15: NRG Park (Houston, TX)
- 4/19 – 4/22: Phoenix Int’l Raceway (Avondale, AZ)
I don’t know what I’m most excited for: getting behind the wheel of a Stinger GT again or seeing the smiling, wide-eyed faces of drivers getting out of the car after completing the autocross. Though the latter is great, I still think getting time behind the wheel and screeching those tires around turns again takes the cake. Hope to see you there, SoCal!
Make sure you head on over to kiastingerexperience.com and sign up for your chance to drive this beauty on a race track.
