After getting lunch in Temecula, we headed back out on the road. We didn’t spend much time in the back seat, but knowing that both seats recline, heat and cool, and has its own climate control allows you to know that they can take care of themselves back there, you’re in charge of driving. All told that day, I think we drove about 120 miles. And I can also honestly say that I wasn’t a bit fatigued. In Los Angeles where I find myself, anything approaching an hour’s drive is going to ruin your day. I imagine that cruising in the K900 with its 17 speaker system and all the things I’ve mentioned above, through the not-so-well paved roads might put a brighter spin on things.
While most of us are probably not in the price bracket of this vehicle, get ready to start seeing a lot of them on the road. This car offers huge amounts of performance and interior equipment for a very reasonable price. And need I site the safety features? No. Why? Because it’s a KIA. Even in this new market, they haven’t strayed from their roots one bit.
