Is it possible for the safest SUV of all time to dominate at a quarter mile race? It sure is!
The video above was taken at the Palm Beach International Raceway, where a Tesla Model X effortlessly beats a Lamborghini Aventador. Though the race itself was a close one, with the Model X winning by just 0.05 seconds, the Lamborghini seemed to struggle to reach the Tesla’s potential. From start to finish (11.418 seconds), the Model X’s Ludicrous mode kept it ahead of the Aventador until the end, topping out at 118mph.
