Fourteen years later and Sacha Baron Cohen reprises his role as Borat, the fictional Kazakh television journalist.
In his first film, Cohen was arrested over 100 times during filming. You would think that couldn’t be topped, but you would be wrong. According to the film’s IMDB page, trivia for ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is already coming out. Cohen has said that he felt his life was at risk during the filming due to both the pandemic and the political environment he was filming around. He stated there were more than a few times he had to wear a bulletproof vest. Not surprisingly either, when Mike Pence is listed #4 in the film’s cast section, so you know he was around the MAGA fanatics.
