You might remember I featured Ilya Naishuller’s ‘Bad Motherfucker’ music video back in 2013 that he wrote and directed. Well, after the video went viral, he decided it was time to take the POV style to a whole new level and started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for a feature film. Enter the Hardcore movie.
In Hardcore, our hero is brought back to life as a cyborg by his wife (Haley Bennett), who minutes later is kidnapped by a psychotic bad guy (Danila Kozlovsky) with telekinetic powers. Seems legit. He gets help from a British guy named Jimmy (Sharlto Copley), who navigates him through the unfamiliar streets of Moscow, Russia.
