The Half-Life franchise lives on, but this time in VR. Half-Life: Alyx is set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, where you play as Alyx Vance, who sets the stage for an early resistance against the Combine with her father, Dr. Eli Vance. The gameplay for Half-Life: Alyx will be unlike anything we’ve seen or experienced before. You will see from the announcement trailer Valve just released that VR is as essential to the gameplay as the graphics and storyline are. Using your hands, you will be able to peek around corners, take aim at enemies from unique angles, tear a headcrab off your face, and rummage through shelves for shotgun shells and heals. That’s just skimming the surface.
