Tom Hardy is back, and this time, he’s taking on the criminal underworld in Netflix’s upcoming action thriller Havoc. Directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), Havoc promises bone-crunching fight sequences, high-stakes drama, and Hardy at his most intense.
In Havoc, Hardy plays Walker, a battered detective caught in a brutal web of corruption, crime, and conspiracy. After a drug deal goes sideways, Walker finds himself hunted by ruthless crime syndicates, crooked politicians, and even his own department. Tasked with rescuing a politician’s estranged son, he must navigate a city spiraling into chaos—while battling his own demons along the way.
With a powerhouse supporting cast that includes Timothy Olyphant, Forest Whitaker, Jessie Mei Li, and Luis Guzmán, Havoc is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest action spectacles of the year. If Evans’ past work is anything to go by, expect non-stop, visceral action sequences that push the limits of the genre.
