Paying tribute to Kobe Bryant’s 20-year career is no easy task, so Nike tapped Grammy Award winning jazz pianist Robert Glasper to create a special track for the NBA star. “Be Courageous” serves as a soundtrack to Kobe’s career, from its high points to its challenges.
The short documentary and track was created as part of Nike’s continued celebration of Black History Month. In the film we see Glasper searching for the perfect beat to honor Kobe’s last year as Laker. Watch the short above and see what he comes up with.
