Nearly 40 years ago, we were introduced to Vietnam veteran John Rambo in First Blood. Since the character’s inception, Sylvester Stallone has clocked too many kills to count as the action hero, and he doesn’t seem to be letting up in Rambo: Last Blood. The film follows John Rambo as he returns home to the only family he has left, his niece, Gabrielle (Yvette Monreal). Unfortunately, his war has followed him home and threatens his family.
In the first trailer for Rambo: Last Blood, there are many callbacks from previous films that would lead us to believe there will be plenty of explosions, knife, bow, and possibly even some epic machine gun kills. Nevertheless, Last Blood is going to be action-packed, and we can’t wait to see it.
Rambo: Last Blood smashes into theaters on September 20th.
