Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for Warcraft, an epic adventure based on Blizzard Entertainment’s mega-popular online role-playing game. A game that many have spent countless days and nights playing, and losing friends over. I refer you to the South Park World of Warcraft episode, it’s a good one!
The film revolves around Azeroth, a realm on the verge of war as its people face a lethal race of Orc warriors, who are looking for a new home after fleeing theirs. From opposing sides, two heroes rise up to protect their family and home.
Warcraft is directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wuis. Look for it in theaters on June 10. In the meantime, grab a copy of Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft and see why this movie is going to be a big hit.
