If you’ve been following Joe’s Daily long enough you know I’m a fan of Apothic wine. Just last September I got to attend the Apothic Dark unveiling on the Santa Monica Pier and experience what the brand had to offer first-hand. Now with summer around the corner we get to taste the light flavors of Apothic Rose, a limited release wine that blends Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Syrah using the saignée process to extract the intense color from the grapes. The vibrant hue of Apothic Rose might have given away that its tasting notes consisted of strawberry and watermelon, however the crisp finish is what leaves you wanting more. In true Apothic fashion, the bottle’s label is just as good as its taste — featuring the Apothic A intertwined in Roses and their thorny vine. Apothic Rose is available nationwide for a limited time and has a suggested retail price of $14.
