Absolut is celebrating the rediscovery of Andy Warhol’s Absolut Blue painting with a new limited-edition bottle that honors the iconic artist’s legacy and emphasizes the transformative power of creativity. Almost 40 years after its first collaboration with Warhol, Absolut is rekindling this artistic partnership to champion inclusivity and creativity through art.
In 2020, a second Warhol painting for Absolut was rediscovered at auction, proving the long-rumored existence of another artwork. The original contract confirmed that two paintings had indeed been commissioned. Now part of the Absolut Art Collection, the painting will be unveiled at Stockholm’s Spritmuseum in October as the centerpiece of a new exhibition titled “Andy Warhol, Money On The Wall.”

The limited-edition bottle features a visually artistic and layered aesthetic with a multi-layered screen-printed design. The bottle’s design elements combine both internal and external components, bringing Warhol’s rediscovered Absolut Blue painting from 1985 to life. Each shade of blue has been carefully extracted from the painting, creating a striking likeness to the original. The final details include an image of Warhol himself alongside his original signature, making this bottle a collector’s item for art enthusiasts and Absolut fans alike.

Absolut Warhol’s Milk Punch Recipe
In conjunction with the bottle’s release, Absolut has curated a special cocktail inspired by Warhol’s infamous sweet tooth and his passion for cornflakes. The Absolut Warhol’s Milk Punch is a blend of Absolut Vodka and cocoa butter, smooth banana liqueur, zesty lemon juice, and cornflake-infused milk. This unique cocktail goes beyond the classics, offering a deliciously distinctive taste experience. Consumers can access an immersive behind-the-scenes experience, including a masterclass on how to make the new signature cocktail via an easily scannable QR code on the side of the bottle.
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Absolut Vodka infused with cocoa butter
- 1 part Banana Liqueur
- 1 part Simple Syrup
- 1 part Lemon Juice
- 1.5 parts Milk infused with cornflakes
Garnish:
Banana chip with grated dark chocolate over drink.
Instructions:
- Infuse Absolut Vodka with cocoa butter by gently melting cocoa butter and combining it with the vodka. Allow it to sit and infuse for a few hours, then strain out the solids.
- To infuse milk with cornflakes, combine milk and cornflakes in a bowl. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then strain out the cornflakes.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the infused Absolut Vodka, Banana Liqueur, Simple Syrup, and Lemon Juice.
- Add the cornflake-infused milk to the shaker.
- Shake well and strain into a glass.
- Garnish with a banana chip and grate dark chocolate over the drink.
