Don Julio’s 2026 Día de Muertos release pairs its Cristalino Añejo with a collector’s bottle designed by Mexico City artist Patricio Campillo. His “Marigold Bridge” concept builds the Día de Muertos visual language into the packaging itself, rather than slapping a seasonal label on a standard bottle. Inside is Don Julio 70 Cristalino: 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Jalisco Highlands, aged 18 months in American white-oak barrels, then charcoal-filtered back to clear. That filtration is the entire trick of a cristalino, it strips the color without stripping the oak, so you get an añejo’s depth with a tequila blanco’s bite. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml format, it’s built for someone who already owns the standard 70 and wants the version worth displaying. Uncrate Supply has it as a pre-sale at $88, shipping early September 2026, USA only, and it needs an adult signature at delivery.
