I was hoping to have some new bottles to pop to ring in the new year, but the timing just wasn’t on my side. Had I had more time, I would have purchased a few bottles of Bricoleur Vineyards “Flying by the Seat of Our Pants” Brut.
This vintage is made from California’s North Coast Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that are harvested by hand at night or during the cool morning hours to ensure they arrive to the winery in pristine condition. It’s a Brut that is dry, yet sweet with a complex nose of citrus blossom and light berry. On the palate, “Flying by the Seat of Our Pants” Brut has a creamy texture, with flavors of mango, pink grapefruit, and guava.
