Maker’s Mark built its 2026 Wood Finishing Series release around the people most bourbon brands never mention — the crew at Star Hill Farm who actually run the stills, rack the barrels, and keep the wheated mash bill consistent batch after batch. The Stewards Release finishes the brand’s signature bourbon with a custom blend of oak staves, layering in raw honey and ripe stone fruit on top of that soft, wheat-forward base Maker’s Mark is known for. It comes in at 54.9% ABV, a noticeable step up from the standard 90-proof bottling, in the usual 750ml format. It’s available now through Uncrate Supply for $78, ships only within the U.S., and requires an adult signature on delivery.
