The Future is Now!
The rumors can finally be laid to rest. Pepsi is definitely releasing a Pepsi Perfect bottle made famous from Back to the Future II.
Starting October 21, the limited edition Pepsi Perfect bottle will be sold online for around $20 USD (cheaper than when Doc Brown gave Marty McFly $50 in the film), and will only be available as long as supplies last — Pepsi is only producing 6,500 of them, with 1,500 of them being dedicated to the forthcoming New York Comic Con this week.
“Fans have always been a little crazy about it and so we wanted to take advantage of the fact that Marty travelled to the future, to this month, and wanted to actually come out with the product,” said Lou Arbetter, PepsiCo’s Senior Directo of Marketing.
Hopefully we will get our hands on a bottle here in the Joe’s Daily office. Keep an eye out for pictures to start surfacing this week at New York Comic Con and on Pepsi’s social media accounts.
