In celebration of its 200th anniversary, The Macallan introduces the Time : Space Collection, a tribute to the brand’s rich history and forward-thinking innovation. This limited edition collection features two exceptional whiskies: an 84-year-old 1940 vintage, the oldest ever released by The Macallan, and a 5-year-old whisky from their new distillery, symbolizing the brand’s future.
The dual-chamber vessel, crafted with precision, beautifully embodies the concept of time travel. Only 200 sets have been made, making this a rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Each bottle is housed in an intricately designed oak sculpture that honors The Macallan’s commitment to natural color and sherry-seasoned oak casks.
Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker at The Macallan, emphasized the significance of this release: “It was an absolute privilege to select stock from the 1940s to honor our 200-year anniversary, while also introducing the first whisky from our new distillery. This collection is a testament to our legacy and our future.”
The collection also includes Time : Space Mastery, a unique single malt that embraces 200 years of whisky craftsmanship, featuring an array of cask types to create a complex and deep flavor profile.
Accompanying the release is the Time : Space Experience in New York City this October, where guests can immerse themselves in The Macallan’s history and innovations. Proceeds from the event will support the Natural Areas Conservancy, reflecting The Macallan’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
For those interested in acquiring a piece of whisky history, The Macallan Time : Space Collection is available by invitation only, with pricing upon application.
