United Airlines has announced they will now begin offering White Claw to customers flying on flights over two hours. This in-flight menu addition will launch on June 1, and accompany other spirits like Breckenridge Brewery Juice Drop Hazy IPA, Kona Brewing Co. Big Wave Golden Ale, Michelob ULTRA, Stella Artois, and a variety of red, white, and sparkling wines.
In addition to this revamped spirits list, United Airlines will be adding a new menu of snacks like chips and salsa and a tapas snack box for flights over 1,500 miles or more than two hours. These changes will arrive starting on June 14.
I’m so excited to take my first flight in the next few weeks. It’s been over a year since I’ve been on a flight and that’s saying a lot. Before the pandemic, I was on the road 2-3 weeks a month. Going from that to nothing is a shock to the system, as you might imagine. Aside from the excitement of getting on a plane and going somewhere new, I’m eager to see all the changes implemented by my favorite airlines.
My first flight will be with Delta, which I’ve kept status with during the pandemic. If I notice any significant changes to their in-flight options I’ll be sure to report back. Stay tuned!
