Most portable fridges look like appliances. The ICECO x Jeep APL35 Limited Edition looks like it rolled out of 1941. The collaboration dresses ICECO’s 37 quart dual zone fridge freezer in 41 Green, Jeep’s official olive drab, with an aluminum body, reinforced black corners, and genuine leather on the handles and latches. It is a nod to the original Willys MB that reads more ammo canister than cooler. Inside, two independently controlled zones let one side chill drinks while the other freezes food, across a range of minus 4 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. A SECOP compressor with Max and Eco modes runs off vehicle DC power or household AC, and ICECO claims 11 minute fast cooling at under 32 decibels. Bluetooth control through the ICECO app and a five year compressor warranty round it out. At 32 pounds it moves easily from truck bed to campsite. At $789, you are paying for the heritage as much as the cold.
