The Snap is Insta360’s fix for a problem every phone-shooting creator has hit: your rear cameras blow the front camera out of the water, but you can’t see yourself when you flip the phone around. It’s a 3.5-inch, 800×480 touchscreen that magnetically clips to the back of a MagSafe iPhone (15 and later) or any Android with USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode, drawing power from the phone over a short USB-C cable so there’s no battery to charge.
The screen mirrors the full phone interface, meaning zoom, focus, shutter, and app navigation all work from the back. A side button toggles between zoomed and letterboxed views, and a flip-over cover keeps the cable wrangled when it’s not in use. Insta360 also sells a version with an AMIRO-developed ring light offering five brightness levels and three color temperatures. The standard Snap is $79.99, the Snap with Light is $89.99, both available now.
