RIMOWA didn’t build a new suitcase for Pokémon‘s 30th anniversary. It built the parts that let you customize one you already own. The Japan-exclusive capsule runs on three hand-finished Italian leather charms, with Pikachu set against RIMOWA’s signature silver, Charmander in Essential Orange, and Charizard in Magenta, plus a wheel set in Poké Ball red and white that slips the brand’s Cologne Cathedral monogram into the hub. A sticker set rounds it out with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle for anyone who wants the look without the bigger spend. And the spend is real: the charms and the wheel set each run ¥42,900 (about $273), the stickers ¥7,700 (roughly $49). The harder part is getting one. It drops June 2 by lottery at six RIMOWA stores in Japan, with online sales at rimowa.com Japan starting at 4 p.m. local, one of each per person.
