Using the Weber Q in Color Gas Grill
When I think of grilling, I think of good food and the company of my family and friends. I was recently sent a Weber Q 1200 gas grill to try out, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Recently, my brother moved into a new home and had his first child. Naturally the entire family was eager to meet the little one, so he invited family and friends over for a cookout. The only problem was he lacked a grill. Well, at least not until now.
The Weber Q 1200 is extremely portable considering it’s a grill. I was able to pack it in the trunk of my car with very little effort. In the above image you will see how its side tables are folded in, while the bottom shows everything opened up. This makes for very easy storage — whether it be in the trunk of your car or your garage.
Eager to test the new grill and kickstart the cookout, I started the Weber Q 1200 up and threw on some hamburgers and hot dogs. The porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grates kept all of the food cooking evenly, while the grease and loose juices that fell from the cooking grates were captured in the easy-to-dispose drip pan at the bottom.
All-in-all, the Weber Q in Color grill was a win! It was a real pleasure to have something so simple and cool looking perform as well as the stationary grills I’ve used in the past. The Weber Q 1200 comes in a variety of different colors, including fuchsia, black (my personal choice), blue, purple, orange, white, green, and titanium.
So if you’re in the market for a portable grill, I would highly recommend you considering the Q 1200. I’m already looking forward to taking it along with me this summer when I go camping in Northern California.
