YETI Finally Put Wheels on the GoBox

YETI's first wheeled GoBox gear cases come in 28, 68, and 88 sizes with IP65/IP67 waterproofing, NeverFlat wheels, and prices from $350.

YETI finally did the obvious thing. The LoadOut GoBox, YETI’s hard-sided gear case line, now rolls. The new Wheeled Gear Case comes in three sizes, 28, 68, and 88, the smallest aimed at the carry-on crowd.

The 28 measures 22 by 14 by 9 inches, weighs 13.5 pounds empty, and clears most airlines’ carry-on rules. All three carry IP65 and IP67 ratings, meaning dustproof, waterproof, and submersible to a meter for 30 minutes. They roll on YETI’s NeverFlat wheels with a retractable aluminum handle, with the usual YETI armor: lockdown latches, tie-down slots, lockports, non-slip feet.

The real play might be the accessories. Each case works with YETI’s PackAttic lid organizer, MOLLE panel, gear cubes, and KOR protective inserts, which vacuum-form around your gear. That modularity is the edge Pelican doesn’t have.

Pricing starts at $350 for the 28, with the 68 and 88 at $450. Black, tan, and King Crab Orange, with black exclusive to the 28. I covered YETI’s LoadOut iPhone case this week, and the family keeps growing in the right direction.
