As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed myself purchasing things I never thought I would. Like a more expensive mattress, because hey, I cherish every bit of sleep I can get. BedGear – the performance bedding company – asked me to try out one of their performance pillows. Since I’m a “stomach sleeper,” and they actually have a pillow for every type of sleeper, I went with the Mist 0.0 pillow ($180 USD).
I was a bit skeptical when first receiving the pillow because I never knew there were different types of pillows for different types of sleepers. Perhaps my ignorance has interfered with me of having the perfect night’s sleep.
How Does BedGear Do it?
Out of the BedGear packaging the Mist 0.0 pillow was cool to the touch. This is because of the Ver-Tex 6.0 Climate Control Fabric, which provides instant heat deflection, keeping you cool throughout the night. As a someone who sleeps hot, this was really exciting. In addition to its Ver-Tex fabric, the BedGear Mist 0.0 features Air-X Ventilated Panels, giving the pillow not only a cool 3D structure, but keeps air flowing throughout and moving heat away from your head, neck and shoulders.
As for the support of your head, neck, and shoulders, the Mist 0.0 features a React Conforming Suspension blend made from silky microfibers. This allows the pillow to adapt to you, while providing zero push back and eliminating pillow bounce.
All-in-all, I’m obsessed with my BedGear pillow. It pairs wonderfully with my new Casper bed I just received, and I’ve never slept better. I’m really excited to outfit the rest of my rooms with BedGear pillows, so you can stay tuned for more coverage on their performance bedding.
