I don’t know about you, but if I’m stuck in one place too long I go a bit stir crazy. That’s why I am loving Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s $9.99 Weekend Special. Any excuse to go on a road trip – long or short – is ideal in my book. And it saves us putting mileage on our own car whenever we are looking to leave the city.
Sarah (MilkAndFlowers.com) and I decided to take advantage of the offer and escape LA for the weekend. On Thursday, I booked an Economy car from Enterprise’s site so it would be ready for pickup the next day. The process online took no more than a few minutes, and because Enterprise has such a large footprint, it’s easy to find a local store with vehicles ready.
We headed down to Anaheim to discover the unexpected gems the OC had to offer. To our surprise, there was far more to do than just visit Disneyland. Though, if I’m to be honest, it’s still one of my all-time favorite places to visit while in Anaheim.
Here are some of the things we got into:
Dessert at Umami Burger
Threw Strikes at Lucky Strike
Beer Tasting at Noble Ale Works
Celebrated Oktoberfest at The Phoenix Club
Since this mini road trip was such a success, we have already planned another in the future with friends. Thankfully, Enterprise’s Weekend Special includes car options from Economy to Full Size vehicles, so we don’t have to worry about running out of room. I should also mention how much I love that the rental period for the special goes from Friday to Monday. This is especially great since most of our trips don’t end until late Sunday. It would be a major let down if we had to rush home just so we could return the car in time.
