The Weekend Drop is a weekly compilation of things we loved this week. Use it to inspire your weekend, for gift ideas, or however you see fit. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Gear
Minimalist multi-tool from The James Brand
If you don’t have an EDC knife yet, I recommend you take a look at The James Brand range of knives. Like The Ellis, a minimalist multi-tool that comes in black, moss, and stainless handles. It features a knife, flat head screwdriver, scraper, and bottle opener. It fits easily in your pocket, your bag, on a lanyard, or on a carabiner. Each knife comes with The James Brand’s limited lifetime warranty.
Tech
The ultimate surge protector
The Powramid C Power Center features a unique design, with 6 power outlets arranged around the body of the surge protector. This gives the freedom to accommodate bulky power bricks without obstructing neighboring outlets. Sturdily built with enhanced fire safety, the Powramid is one of the best companions to all your devices.

Mezcal El Silencio has teamed up with Maxwell Reis, mixologist of West Hollywood plant-based restaurant, Gracias Madre. The San Baltazar cup cocktail is a light and refreshing recipe that uses the freshest ingredients. Try it this weekend!

Style
The perfect shirt for this summer
Aptly named the “BBQ Shirt,” this subtly patterned button-down is probably the perfect piece of clothing for those summer get-togethers. Thanks to its cotton/hemp blend, it’ll be as breathable and lightweight as you would want it to be during those countless hours you’ll be spending outside. Then there’s the print—stylish enough to be appreciated while still quiet enough that you won’t be attracting any unwanted attention…like, from bees and whatnot.
Art/Design
Ben Fearnley’s Uncanny Art
Lovers of the weird will get a kick out of these pieces by freelance New York-based English designer Ben Fearnley. By simply placing everyday objects (many to do with food, and I’m not mad about it) in unconventional places, he’s created an art collection that somehow feels like everything I never knew I needed. To check out more of his work, head over to his website.
Grooming
emerginC’s Lighten-up Under-eye Circle Fighter
Blame it on genetics, lack of sleep, or just a general bad habit of aggressive rubbing, but I often find myself rocking a pretty dark set of under-eye circles. I know, you can probably relate. Thankfully, we’re living in the future where we have great options to take care of issues like these. Not only does emerginC‘s circle fighter work on all skin types, but they’re also a company that’s doing some great things in the way of sustainability. So, not only will you look great after using their product, but you’ll be able to humble-brag about the brands you support, too.
Entertainment
First look gameplay of new Star Wars game from Respawn Entertainment
I have been eagerly waiting to see footage of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from Respawn Entertainment since it was announced some time ago. My brother is an environment artist for their team and invited me out to this year’s EA Play at E3 to see the first 15-minutes of gameplay ever released. Now, I don’t want to spoil anything since you likely haven’t seen it yet, but I implore you to watch the entire 15-minutes. There’s a ridiculously cool kill in the gameplay that you will know when you see it. Enjoy!
