The world of motorsports is set to ignite once again as SRO Motorsports America gears up to bring its high-speed, adrenaline-fueled GT and Touring Car racing to NOLA Motorsports Park. If you’re a fan of sports car racing and international competition, mark your calendars for April 28-30, when SRO America is set to host another unforgettable International Sports Car Weekend in The Big Easy.

Located just a short drive from the vibrant city of New Orleans, NOLA Motorsports Park is preparing for a thrilling three-day festival of speed. As a premier racing venue, NOLA Motorsports Park offers both local and visiting fans an unparalleled racing experience with open access to the stars and cars of SRO America. This supercar weekend will showcase the very best from top manufacturers such as Audi, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Porsche, McLaren, Toyota, and more.

The Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS will be returning to New Orleans for its second annual race weekend, promising an action-packed agenda. The weekend will feature intense racing series, including Pirelli GT4 America, TC America powered by Skip Barber, and the Skip Barber Formula Series. With a mega mix of over 100 high-speed machines competing, motorsports enthusiasts can anticipate heart-pounding battles from the top GT and Touring Car manufacturers.

NOLA Motorsports Park General Manager, David Pace, expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “NOLA Motorsports Park is ecstatic to welcome our friends at SRO Motorsports America back to our FIA Grade 2 world-class race course.” He added that fans can expect a weekend “full of adventure and thrills.”

The experience doesn’t stop at the racetrack. Attendees will have full access to the paddock and a plethora of interactive activities. Get up-close and personal with the race cars and drivers, participate in autograph sessions, and join in the excitement of grid walks and podium celebrations.

The 2023 season for SRO has been a remarkable one as the organization has focused on upper-echelon GT3 racing and welcomed the return of the Pro-pairing class. Spanning circuits from Sonoma to Indianapolis, these three-day race weekends feature 90-min double-header races that guarantee non-stop entertainment.

Greg Gill, president and CEO of SRO Motorsports America, spoke about the partnership, saying, “It’s amazing to be able to continue our partnership with NOLA Motorsports Park and return to their premier facility this April.” He extended an invitation to New Orleans locals and visiting race fans to witness all that SRO has to offer and “enjoy the ride of professional sports car racing.”
