It goes without saying, but tiny watches are ideal for those with smaller wrists. With its newest Royal Oak Selfwinding, Audemars Piguet is targeting that crowd. Its distinctive octagonal case, which measures just 34mm in diameter, is constructed of black ceramic, as is the matching bracelet. The dial on the Grande Tapisserie is black, with a date window at 3 o’clock and pink gold hour markers and bezel screws for contrast.
I’m not quite sure if this watch would feel right after wearing a 40mm Rolex Sub for so long, but its sleek black ceramic might convince me. Perhaps a new watch I buy for my wife that just sits in our watch case for her to never wear.
