Even though we still have two months left of summer, I’m already thinking about my Fall attire. Hopefully, by the time Fall arrives, Sarah and I will be settled into our Midwest home. Our goal with the move is to take advantage of the outdoors more, so we have discussed moving to an area with good hiking trails. There’s only one problem. I don’t have a single pair of hiking boots.

The Mountain Pass by Danner is a lightweight hiking boot made in their Portland, Oregon factory. This new boot takes inspiration from the original Mountain Light, with a breathable GORE-TEX lining and Thinsulate insulation to prevent any cold or wet toes while you trek through slush and snow. An updated construction method has allowed Danner to significantly reduce the hiking boot’s weight while maintaining premium comfort. The Vibram Arctic Grip outsole was designed to keep your footing secure on wet ice, frozen ground, or whatever else the colder months have in store.
