Fender and Hurley Launch Limited Edition Men’s Capsule Collection
Iconic California-based brands, Fender and Hurley have collaborated on a limited edition men’s capsule collection: Hurley x Fender. The collection was inspired by the tweed print found on Fender’s amplifiers from the mid-fifties, as well as the music & surf culture from both brands SoCal roots.
The collection features Hurley’s signature board shorts, sweatshirts, tees, beanies, and hats. A piece to note is the SRFGTR tee, which pays tribute to artist Bob Perine’s “You Won’t Part With Yours Either” campaign. This, of course, created something viral before viral was even a word. Southern California youth performed insane surf stunts while holding their Fender guitars and amplifiers while riding waves.
“The Hurley X Fender collaboration represents two innovative brands with deep roots in Southern California culture,” said Craig Stecyk, Creative Art Director. “It was exciting to work alongside the Fender team and create product representative of both brands’ heritage and passion.”
