Grand Seiko has dropped two 36.5mm manual wind watches with silver and chocolate sunray brushed dials. The pair of stainless steel watches are renditions of the original 44GS design, featuring sharp indices and hands sitting in opposition to their open sunray dials.
The chocolate-dialed SBGW293 is nicknamed ‘Tsuji’ (earth) and the silver-dialed SBGW291 is nicknamed ‘Kuuki’ (air).
Both watches are powered by Grand Seiko’s manually wound Caliber 9S64 movement, which features a 72-hour power reserve and +5/-3 second daily accuracy, water resistant to 100m and are secured on crocodile leather straps.
Both SBGW291 and SBGW293 are available now via Grand Seiko retailers, priced at $5,200 USD.
