If you looked at my vast collection of watches, especially those that are Jorg Gray, you will see I have very few metal watches. I can’t say for sure what draws me towards my affinity for leather bands instead of metal, but after seeing the Jorg Gray 9700-24 ($750 USD) I can honestly say my taste might be changing.
The Jorg Gray 9700-24 is Divers Chronograph using a Swiss made Ronda 5030D chronograph. Its base is a 46mm solid stainless steel silver plated case with a blue plated rotating bezel and a textured blue dial with applied luminous index. The chronograph movement with date display is protected by a sapphire crystal lens, finishing off with a solid stainless steel bracelet. Divers can expect a water resistance up to 650 ft.
I absolutely love wearing this watch dressed up or down. On the weekends when I’m heading to lunch with friends, I usually wear a casual short sleeve dress shirt, shorts, slip-ons and this watch. The Jorg Gray 9700-24 helps balance out my casual, cool look without making too big of a statement.
