Finding the perfect pair of jeans can be a daunting task for any guy, especially if you can’t afford a full-time stylist to tell you what looks right and what to wear it with. ZipFit Denim was created to help find the ideal pair of jeans based on your size and fit preferences all from the comfort of your home. No longer will you have to go store to store trying on every pair of denim just to see what fits best.
The fine folks at ZipFit gave the Joe’s Daily team a chance to try out their system and show off how easy it was to find the perfect pair of jeans. To get started you open up their Fit Finder page to choose your body type.
This part was awesome. It’s like you have your own person tailor helping you get fitted by measuring your torso, “arse”, thighs, calves, crotch, and ankles. The kind of experience you just won’t get in any store.
After choosing your body-type and letting the Fit Finder calculate your results, a page of various jeans appear that best match your body-type you previously put into their system. You can click on any of the jeans you’re interested in and see a message from their ‘Fit Expert’.
This is where it gets good. ZipFit understands that not everyone is model height, which brings me to their next section. After you’ve chosen the jeans you want to buy, the next step is to customize any alterations you may need: size, waist, hem, etc. My favorite part is how you can choose your inseam. I tend to run quite short in this department, so the fact that they are willing to do this right on their site rather than me having to visit my tailor is a huge plus. Once you have it all finalized you choose your hem, maybe add some notes, and then that’s it!
