Taylor Stitch built its Insulated Bomber for the cold days of fall. It is the layer for when a heavy coat is too much and a shell is not enough. The 8-ounce organic cotton shell carries the brand’s dry wax finish, so it shrugs off wind and rain. The waxed canvas picks up character with wear. Inside, a recycled nylon lining is quilted with 120 grams of recycled polyester insulation, enough warmth for real winter without the bulk of a parka. Heavyweight ribbing at the collar, cuffs, and hem seals out cold air.

Two brushed cotton-lined handwarmer pockets and an interior snap-closure pocket cover the practical side. A sturdy YKK two-way zipper with a leather pull finishes it. The jacket comes in Dark Navy Dry Wax, in stock in every size from XS to XXL, with a Coal Dry Wax version that is nearly sold out. It fits true to size, and Taylor Stitch calls it a small-batch run that may not come back. The Insulated Bomber Jacket is available now from Taylor Stitch for $288.
