This is the kind of collaboration that stops me mid-scroll. Todd Snyder, one of my favorite American designers, teamed up with Lagavulin, one of my favorite whiskies, for the new Time & Craft collection.
The campaign was shot on Islay with Gilded Age actor Ben Ahlers as its face, and that is him wearing the jacket in the featured image.
The centerpiece is the Stable Jacket, rebuilt in Italian calf suede with a smooth leather collar in tonal brown. Only 50 pieces are being made and it carries a $2,498 price tag. That puts it squarely in grail territory.

The best part is the whisky story is stitched inside, not printed on the sleeve. The interior is lined in the official Lagavulin Islay Tartan, woven at Lovat Mill in Scotland, and the sleeves are cotton-lined so it slides on and off easily. The earthy brown suede even echoes the Islay peat.
Snyder has said Lagavulin 16 has been his favorite whisky for years, and this feels like a passion project rather than a licensing exercise. It is part of Todd Snyder’s 15th anniversary, and the usual Stable Jacket signatures are all here: a two-way zipper, silent snaps, patch-and-flap pockets, and an interior zip pocket.
Todd Snyder has done suede before. I covered his Italian suede Dylan jacket a while back, but this is the first time he has put a distillery’s tartan in the lining.
