Todd Snyder looked at the T500, a tennis shoe from 1982, and saw a coffee shop. The Cafe Pack, exclusive to Todd Snyder, comes in two colorways: Espresso, in monochromatic brown, and Milk, the lighter counterpart. Both swap the usual canvas for hairy suede, Espresso’s reads like coffee grounds, plus crocodile-stamped leather, a pebbled leather N logo and tongue, and a gum midsole, darker on Milk to match its trim. Underneath, the T500 keeps its flat, grounded profile, a polyurethane midsole, and a herringbone outsole with a pivot circle, while the toe box loses its perforations. It joins a strong season for sneaker collaborations, and it is a clever bit of theming that still works as an everyday shoe. At $130 a pair it undercuts most collaboration pricing by a comfortable margin. The pack launched October 22 through Todd Snyder online and in its shops.
