Acer America recently unveiled their new Acer Iconia A1-830, an Android tablet with a stylish design standing at 7.9-inches. With a starting price at just $149, the Acer Iconia A1-830 is the perfect companion for casual consumers looking to browse the web, play some games, and stay connected.

The 7.9-inch display (1024 x 768 resolution) with IPS technology is protected by the Iconia’s premium design with an aluminum rear cover and a metal mid-frame. The IPS display provides crisp colors from various viewing angles up to 178 degrees.

Weighing in at just under 1-pound and 0.32 inches thin, the tablet is portable and easy to hold thanks to its sleek bezel around the display.

The Acer Iconia A1-830 is powered by an Intel® Atom™ (Clover Trail+) Z2560 1.6GHz processor and 1GB of onboard LPDDR2 SDRAM, so it delivers fluid and fast navigation through apps and websites, smooth video playback and better mobile gaming.

The Iconia A1-830 runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system with 7.5 hours of battery life. Each unit comes with 16GB of storage to store all your apps and various media. If that’s not enough, you can use its microSD slot that supports cards up to 32GB.
