Visually it doesn’t look much different from the Series 1 or 2, but it’s what’s inside the Apple Watch Series 3 that will make it stand out. This is the first Apple Watch to feature cellular connectivity, allowing you to make calls, text, stream music and more without the need of your phone. Additionally, Apple has added a barometric altimeter for tracking elevation change and steps climbed, a 70% faster processor, and a new fabric sports band option. The Series 3 comes in three aluminum finishes, two ceramic Editions, and a less expensive version without cellular; but who the heck would want that?
