Boox shrank the e-reader to barely bigger than a credit card, light enough to live in a pocket or wallet. The monochrome e-paper screen uses anti-aliased text with a dual-tone front light that shifts warm to cool or drops into dark mode, and it reads nearly every ebook format in circulation.
USB-C charging, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and syncing through Boox’s companion app cover the basics, while an optional magnetic case turns it into a phone-back add-on, the modern version of a paperback in the back pocket. At $100 it is the e-reader for people who still finish books but never remember to pack one.
