Bose’s $99 Wired Earbuds Have Noise Cancellation

Bose returns to wired earbuds after 11 years: $99 USB-C earbuds with QuietControl ANC, lossless audio, and no battery to charge. Shipping October 15.

Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds

Bose hasn’t made wired earbuds in 11 years, and it picked an interesting moment to come back. The new Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds plug straight into USB-C, draw power from your phone or laptop, and skip Bluetooth, pairing, apps, and charging entirely. You still get QuietControl ANC with four microphones and three modes (Quiet, Aware, and off), plus 24-bit/48kHz lossless audio with latency low enough for gaming, all run through a three-button inline remote with its own mic.

The pitch is the price: $99, roughly a third of what the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds cost, for the two features people actually pay for. Three eartip sizes and two stability wing sizes come in the box, with IPX4 sweat resistance and a zippered case. Colors are Black, White Smoke, and a limited Dewdrop Mint. Pre-orders are open now, and shipping starts October 15.
